Douglas Green Chenin Blanc is a perfectly balanced fruity white wine of the Chenin Blanc grape variety. It is refreshing with subtle layers of peach and melon with a firm and lingering finish that adds to it a dash of complexity.
The nose brims with fruit and salad aromas which include tropical pineapple, papaya, guava and granadilla with a subtle streak of green asparagus and fig. This precedes an accommodating mouthful of sunny ripe flavours balanced beautifully into a frisky dry finish with a lingering citrus freshness.
Douglas Green Chenin Blanc is best served chilled. It pairs well with chicken curry, pizza, fish, or chips.
