Dalmore 12 Year Old whisky is aged for the first nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. For the remaining three years, half of it is transferred to ex-oloroso sherry casks. The resulting whisky is a combination of sweetness, along with rich, sherried flavours.
This single malt has aromas of orange, dark plums, chocolate, and marzipan. On the palate, it has notes of citrus, coffee, and cinnamon. The finish has lingering notes of orange, vanilla, plums, and cinnamon.
