Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry is a unique blend of classic Olorosso Wines, fine Amontillados, and high-quality sweet wines. The creme is made from aged wines drawn off more than 50 solera systems.

Harveys Bristol Cream is the flagship of the Harveys Winery – a vineyard sitting on a 2,000-acre tract of land in the prestigious sherry-growing region of Jerez Superior. It was founded way back in 1796 and is currently one of the best-selling sherries world over.

Tasting notes

Harveys sherries result from traditional solera techniques that blend the individual wines into a golden smooth, refreshing wine with a complex nutty character.
The wine has a golden chestnut and amber colour, with clean, fresh and tangy dried fruit aromas, fruity grape flavours and a creamy velvet, smooth, mellow, woody, nutty and earthy flavours in the finish.
There is a fine balance between the Bristol Cream and the Sherries, with the Bristol Cream tasting smoother and more complex, given its high quality and extra age if its components.

Serving.

Bristol Cream can be enjoyed as a dessert wine, served chilled or on ice.

I was happy to be re-acquainted with this particular drink after like 15 years – I’d forgotten about it. It’s smooth and rich just like I remember it. Makes great cocktails too.
