First released in 1968, Laurent-Perrier NV Cuvée Rosé Brut is the most recognized rosé champagne in the world and is considered a benchmark for rosé champagne.
Blend
100% Pinot Noir from 10 different crus situated mainly in Montagne de Reims, including the grand crus of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne.
Vinification and aging
The Pinot Noir grapes are selected for their perfect ripeness and manually sorted in Laurent-Perrier harvest stations, then destemmed to retain only the berries before they go into the maceration tanks. The maceration process lasts 48-72 hours after picking and extracts a delicate salmon pink color expressing the full aromatic breadth of the Pinot Noir grapes. After bottling the wine is aged a minimum of four year in bottle before release.
At disgorging, it receives a light dosage of 9 grams of sugar per liter, classifying it as a Brut champagne.
