The Rupert & Rothschild classique is based on a Bordeaux blend that traditionally consists of equal amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The incorporation of both Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon elevates the texture making for a more refined wine. On the nose is the delicious scent of roasted coffee, black cherry and cassis. This is a medium to full bodied palate with smooth and consistent tannins and just enough acidity to maintain the freshness.

In the Cellar

Fermented in stainless steel tanks with extended skin contact. Malolactic fermentation also occurred in stainless steel tanks.
